As 2025 closes our team thought it would be fun to thank you for allowing us to partner with you this year by sharing some fun facts about how you used Churchteams this past year and some of the upgrades you liked the most!
In 2025 Churchteams helped churches ...
- Send 11 million texts.
- Send over 70 million emails.
- Run 561,534 workflows.
- Run 23,362 scheduled reports.
- Login to the App 100,164 times.
We’ve long been known for our communication tools like email marketing and Text-To-Church. It’s been exciting to see more churches adopting workflows, scheduled reports, and the Member App—some of our newer features. If you haven’t started using these yet, consider making that a goal for 2026. You can use the search bar in our Knowledge Base to learn more, or contact us by phone or email.
Ten of the top features released in 2025
We also have a reputation for our passion to listen, collaborate, strategize, and innovate -- support on steroids. The result of this church-focused priority is sometimes an upgrade to a current feature or adding something new.
We reviewed the new release blog posts for the year and then our staff ranked our top ten. We affirmed these with a poll on our Facebook forum. Here is the list with a short description and a link to the release blog if you want to look at it more closely.
- Multi-factor authentication. Improved login security by verifying identity of user every 30 days if enabled.
- Groupfinder has a fresh new look. New look and feel to make Groupfinder more attractive and easier to use -- embedded in your website.
- Pre-check by text for ticketed events. Paperless verification of registrations for controlled-access events by using our Text-to-Church feature.
- Precheck by text for events with payments. Enhanced pre-check to automatically verify all attendees whose fees were paid during registration.
- 3-in-1 refresh events on website, member app, and T2C keywords. Manage the events that show up in all three places based on registration settings dates.
- New way to maintain contribution history yet archive donors. A system driven way to archive people you want to remove from the database but have a contribution history.
- Member login link into the app on computer. Have non-staff leaders and members use this link for computer access instead of the staff login link.
- Avoid creating duplicates when entering data manually. Before adding manually entered information into the database, the system runs a duplicate check!
- Additional registration payments with saved credit cards. When you send payment reminders for events, people simply pick a saved card to make the payment.
- People notes - no follow up needed option. Clearly marks the completion of a Note task that needs no additional follow up.
As we look back on these highlights from 2025, our goal is the same as it was at the start of the year: to help you communicate more effectively, care for people more personally, and steward your ministry data with confidence.
Every new feature and update we’ve released has been shaped by conversations with churches like yours. The texts you sent, the follow-up you automated, the events you managed, and the security you provided all represent real people being reached, welcomed, and cared for.
