Find me on:

gratefulThis has been an incredible year for Churchteams.  As we bring it to a close, our team would like to say thank you for your friendship, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

What made it so incredible?  First, a living, breathing relationship with Jesus.  Second, kind, generous relationships with so many of you.  We have the best clients and friends in the world.  Third, a staff team committed to Christ, you, and each other.

There were some incredible things about our work this year as well.  I just ran the view rates for this blog over the past year to remember the highlights and to see what features and services were most interesting to you guys.  Here are the top 5 topics in order.

  1. Did you guess the big news?  We've got a new look. This didn't surprise me.  We've had the new User Interface on our roadmap for awhile and made incredible headway this year.  If you haven't switched to it yet, login and do it now.  Look for more to come in 2025!

  2. New!  A better way to record worship total attendance and decisions. Worship is the heart of church ministry and of great interest to everyone.  This blog provides a best use practice for tracking worship in Churchteams.  We've got another exciting feature related to worship on deck for 2025.  It might be #1 on this list a year from now.
  3. Connection Cards are a top 12 way churches use Registrations & Forms.  I have started describing Churchteams as a Church Communication Software built on a Church Management Platform.  There is incredible power for relationship building through communication when the full database undergirds everything.  Connection Cards are an important catalyst for the relationship development process.

  4. Which option for calendar software is best for our church?  We built Churchteams on a groups (relational) foundation rather than a calendar (temporal) foundation, so people ask us all the time about calendars.  This was an update of an older blog post.  I wrote this one back in January.

  5. Use this simple PRIVACY POLICY to keep people in your church safe.  This was a pivotal year for churches moving from free texting to Text-to-Church.  Reliability for free texting became less stable so many churches switched to using just Text-to-Church.  The Privacy Policy was developed to help meet new Telecom standards for new Texting clients.  It also provides a nice template for every church that wants to make communication and privacy expectations more clear.  Feel free to use or edit it.

We're excited to see what 2025 brings.  We have lots of plans and dreams but know that the Lord determines our steps (Proverbs 16::9).

Father, thank you for guiding our steps and those of our clients and friends in 2024. We commit to you all our plans and dreams for 2025.  Would you direct and bless them for the sake of your purposes and glory?  In Jesus' name.
