Find me on:

praiseThis is the time of the year most of us like to look back and  review what the Lord has done in our lives and work.  I know this exercise helps me put things in perspective and realize again that everything we do comes from Him.  I'd like to invite you to join me in a time of gratitude and praise for what He has done in 2022 at Churchteams.

Church Communication Software

Adding two-way texting and Text-to-Chat in February and a notification system for new chats last month rounds out the Text-to-Church feature set.  It has become the primary reason people choose Churchteams over other church management systems.  If you're a client you know what I mean.  If not, you need to check it out.

Text and social media are designed to share content in short spurts like 159 characters.  This is part of their attraction.  But, there is also a place for attractive design and more content in messaging.  This is where our new Content Pages feature comes in.

You can design content in our professional email editor as either an email or a landing page.  We now host this content and provide links that can be shared in places like email, text, social and even your website.  Stay tuned for more applications of these communication tools.

There are many business focused applications that specialize in specific parts of the communication process.  We've used, researched, and learned from many of these and had lots of conversations with church leaders who have as well.

It seems like there is a clear and common movement toward church management software morphing into church communication software.  Many of this year's highlight releases are the result.  We anticipate this trend becoming more and more evident in the next few years.

How We're Preparing

This year we improved many structural parts of the software.  Deceased actions, pledge self-registration, pre-printing name tags, reports performance, and Tags made the top ten.  There are a host of other things that we quietly improved and released along the way.  These make the software better in ways you may not even realize.  They are also providing the data infrastructure for the road ahead.

In addition to software upgrades, there are also things we've done this year to upgrade the business itself and our relationships with you.

The new website was designed and released this year to better communicate our message.  It gives Google and our friends a place to direct people.  It helps church leaders find and learn about us.

With help from our friends at Altezza, we've improved our systems for sales and customer care.  These add depth to our our #1 priority commitment to serve people well.

So, what does 2023 have in store for Churchteams?  Proverbs 16:9 says, "In His heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps."  We're planning our course based on these highlights and what we are hearing from churches.  But let's see where the Lord leads.
