Jesus and disciples.jpgLast week's blog verse was based on the gospel of Matthew.  Mark doesn't do anything with the birth of Jesus.  Mark's advent of Jesus though is more like this.

Like DOS, John was from a different era.  He was a starting place that pointed people to a better way - Jesus.  Jesus provides  a Windows view of understanding and processing life's data.

John identified Jesus, posted, tweeted, texted and emailed everyone. The suspense for the release of the coming Messiah was growing.

Jesus quietly comes into the picture by going to John and asking him to baptize or endorse and affirm him.  From then on, it was all about Jesus.  He started his ministry by teaching and creating a group.  His first followers.

When people start a trial with Churchteams.  Their advent begins with logging in and we suggest creating or updating their profile.  After that, we always suggest creating a group.  These are the building blocks upon which everything else is done in Churchteams.  Really, the same is true in life.  Update your profile to put Christ in charge, then create a group to help you follow Christ better and expand your influence together for Him.

17 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 18 At once they left their nets and followed him.  Mark 1
