Medical Affirmation Before Check-in?
Text-to-Check-in for Virtual Attenders
As both veteran and new clients are thinking about their new approach to check-in, we often get asked if we can accommodate their different ideas. Because our system is so robust we are almost always able to accommodate.
To understand the variety of options, our team asked me if I could put together a matrix of our solutions and their various features and benefits. Here's what I came up with. Across the top are the different approaches. On the side are the different requirements, features and options.
Kiosk is the traditional approach and still the best in many instances. Some churches with a lot of young families checking in at the same time have chosen to continue with Kiosks because the family is there to immediately pick up their security tags. Others prefer Text-to-Check-in because volunteers are needed to manage and hand out tags as families are greeted.
Mobile allows ushers, greeters and hosts to check families in with a tablet or their phone as people enter the building. Once checked in, they point them to the printer station to receive their security tag.
You recognize that four of the approaches are Text-to-Church related. If you're not familiar with them, here is a resource for each.
Finally, the tried and true method for us, of automating the system to send the leader of a group an email on the morning before the groups meets. One click from the email on their phone and they are in the software taking attendance, notes, and prayer requests.
Are you looking for a way to do touchless check-in? We can help. Would you like fresh ideas for taking worship attendance both live and streaming at the same time? We got you covered.
And the best part of it all is that from this great input into the system, we can help you create helpful and informative feedback to better disciple, shepherd and care for people in the brave new world we all know we are walking into.
