Welcome 2025. Why not start a new year with a list of new upgrades we added in the last couple months of 2024? Glance over the list and you'll see that none of these is major, but all of them are really handy when you need them.
For those of you who are interested, we saw our greatest revenue growth ever in 2024. We are grateful to the Lord and to you, our clients and friends, for enabling us to constantly move the software bar up for church management and church communication.
Speaking of church communication, our system for providing
beautiful, easy-to-use church websites was established in 2024. So, when you find yourself ready for a change, let us know. We can help with everything from turn-key templates to high-end custom development.
Here's the list of upgrades.
- Registration - see future automatic contributions
- Registration - leaders can get a text when someone signs up
- Check-in - add more information to child and parent tags
- People Notes - no follow up needed option
- Email editor - now has emoticons and tables
1. Registration - see future automatic contributions
This new release does two things. First, it gives you a summary of contributions left and total amount for each individual. Secondly, the footer row showa you a summary or projection of expected future income based on contributions that are already scheduled.
2. Registration - leaders can get a text when someone signs up
We added an option to notify leaders by text when someone registers for an event. You can find that option on any Registration Settings page:
As soon as someone registers, the leader(s) of that group or event will be notified with a link that takes them to their group or event:
3. Check-in - add more information to child and parent tags
Occasionally churches have needed an extra people attribute to print on child and parent security tags. If you find that helpful, there is now an option under A7 on the Check-in View Settings page for a 4th optional attribute for the child tag,
and B3 for 2nd and 3rd optional attributes for the parent tag.
4. People Notes - no follow up needed option
We added an option on people notes to mark that follow up is not needed. As you would expect, it can not be used in conjunction with assigning someone to follow up. New notes look like this.
Pre-existing notes look like this to indicate the follow up is now complete.
5. Email editor - now has emoticons and tables
When entering text in the email editor, notice the new emoji icon on the floating format menu. When selected it will give you options to insert all kinds of emojis.
When adding content to a new row, there is now an option to add a table block. Just drag and drop it where you want.
These options are available to use for both email templates (using the advanced editor) and content pages.
